Spring into Fitness
A New Year equals a new you. This year don't just make a resolution to get in shape, stick to it. Enjoy the efforts you are making towards that healthy, lean body you've always wanted. Here are some tips to help you create a new you:
1. Make exercising part of your daily routine, you should always have time to help keep your body healthy and fit. By starting on Mondays it will give you the motivation to workout the rest of the week.
2. If working out alone doesn't get you motivated, then bring a friend so that you can motivate each other towards a healthy lifestyle.
3. Challenge yourself and set fitness goals. Set records that you can constantly beat so that you don't just focus on weight-loss or muscle gain. Fitness goals will help you strive to be better than you were before.
4. Visualize who you want to be. By imagining the slimmmer more fit person you want to be, it will give you the drive you need to reach your goals.
5. Workout time is quiet time. It can be the only time of the day you truly have for yourself outside the busy world, so enjoy it.
6. Exercising and eating right will help you live longer...imagine your future and your children's future. You want to be around to see everything.
7. Read success stories and blogs. They give you the motivation to know that you're not the only one out there who may not like how they look and you can always do something about it.
8. Don't weigh yourself everyday. Since our weight fluctuates, it's best to weigh yourself once a week. This way your focus is on keeping your weight down instead of up.
9. Buy an outfit that you know you won't be able to fit until you reach your goal.
10. Document your progress daily and write motivational quotes for yourself.
11. More importantly have fun with your routines. Be open to try different things.
